Our campers explored the nature trail, discovering the incredible plants, wildlife, and beautiful landscapes that make The Bahamas so unique.

Every step was a chance to learn, ask questions, and deepen their appreciation for the natural world around them. Experiences like these help inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.

Mangroves are one of our nation’s greatest natur

Mangroves are one of our nation’s greatest natural assets, protecting coastlines, supporting fisheries, and strengthening climate resilience.

Grateful to join stakeholders from across The Bahamas at the National Mangrove Management Plan Inception Workshop as we work together to shape a stronger future for mangrove conservation, restoration, and sustainable management nationwide.

Also, it was great to meet S. Obie Roberts, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.

Yet this extraordinary ocean sanctuary faces increasing threats from fossil gas and LNG projects that endanger fragile marine ecosystems, coastal communities, sustainable livelihoods, and our shared climate goals.

Together, we rolled up our sleeves to help protect one of Grand Bahama’s beautiful coastlines, proving that small actions can create big waves of change.
